Claude 3.7 Sonnet - A Hybrid Reasoning Model - But is it Any Good?

Anthropic has launched Claude 3.7 Sonnet - a hybrid reasoning model. Claude 3.7 Sonnet is both an "traditional" LLM and also a reasoning model. You can pick how you want the model to answer: normally or with extra thinking. When performing extra thinking, it self-reflects and reasons before answering, with the aim to improve its performance on math, physics, instruction-following, and coding.
