Discover the unique story of the Cappadocian Greeks! ?? This ancient community in Anatolia included a fascinating subgroup: the Karamanlides. These Turkic-speaking Orthodox Christians wrote their Turkish dialect using the Greek alphabet. Their origin is debated, but their Orthodox faith led them to be classified as "Greek" during the 1923 population exchange between Greece and Turkey.
