At first glance, being a mascot might look like all fun and games — but at Keystone Mascots training camp, it’s serious business. Founded and run by Erin, the camp teaches aspiring mascots how to master the craft, from perfecting the famous mascot walk to dancing, working with oversized props, and even pulling off a few magic tricks. Trainees also study videos of other mascots in action, learning how to connect with crowds and bring their characters to life.The program all leads up to a live performance at a baseball game, where the mascots finally get the chance to test their new skills in front of an audience.
