Wildfires burn across Europe as temperatures soar in August heatwave

Firefighters in countries across Europe are battling wildfires during a heatwave that has sent temperatures soaring above 40 degrees Celsius in some areas.

Flames in Spain, France, Portugal, Montenegro, Turkey, Croatia and more countries has destroyed homes and forced the evacuations of hundreds of people.
At least one person has died in Spain, and scientists warn the 'Molotov cocktail' of climate conditions is putting many people at risk.
