Lightning Talk: Real-Time Weather Forecasting in AgStack To Protect Agrifarms - Srinivas Mudda, Aakash Panwar & Nida Noorain, MosChip Technologies Ltd
Timely weather forecasting is critical for modern agriculture, especially in preventing crop damage due to unexpected rainfall. This topic explores AgStack's advancements in predicting and notifying farmers of unexpected rainfall at least few hours in advance. We also discuss the integration of global meteorological data, AI-driven forecasting, and IoT-based weather stations, as well as challenges in data standardisation, sensor accuracy, and real-time communication for hyperlocal weather predictions.
