Tim Westwood charged with rape

The former Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood has been charged with a series of sexual offences including four counts of rape.

The Metropolitan Police said the 68-year-old was accused of assaulting seven women, some as young as 17-years-old.
The alleged offences took place between 1983 and 2016. Westwood will appear in court next month.
