The remains of Tamir Nimrodi, Uriel Baruch and Eitan Levi were sent back from Gaza on board Red Cross vehicles. Another body included in the handover has been assessed to be that of a Palestinian from Gaza.
Israel is also returning the remains of Palestinians to Gaza that had been withheld.
The handovers are part of a deal to secure the release of Israeli hostages as well as Palestinian prisoners and detainees tied to a ceasefire to end the war in Gaza. But there have been delays in the recovery of Israeli remains and Israel has responded by withholding more humanitarian aid from Gaza.
