I have a soft spot for speakers designed for electronic instruments, starting with the wonderful 1930s designs by Martenot and the contemporary manufacturer La Voix du Lucier. Since I have accumulated a few by now, I was looking for a project to combine all of them. When I came across Pendulum Music by Steve Reich, I knew I had found just the piece to play with them.
