
Defining "Stakeholder Capitalism" Today
In the past few years, business leaders have increasingly been urged to shift from a shareholder-centered approach to governance to a multi-stakeholder approach. This is often referred to as a shift to “stakeholder capitalism.” But there’s a catch: Leaders interpret stakeholder capitalism in various ways, which can result in confusion and conflict.
