Braverman spoke out against what she said was "Tory betrayal" over immigration policy and questioned the commitment to leave the European Convention on Human Rights.
Braverman is the latest high profile Conservative figure to join Nigel Farage's party, a list that also includes former Shadow Secretary of State Robert Jenrick and former Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi.
