This tool can unlock almost any combination safe but not nearly as fast as movies show. It works by slowly testing every possible combination using a motorized dialer plus sensors and software to measure mechanical feedback until the correct combination is found.
A standard safe can have up to a million combinations, so the process can take as little as an hour crack. But depending on the safe and the engineering and capability of the robot, it can take days and sometimes even a full week to crack.
