No more gatekeeping
This has been a well-kept secret for a while now but I don’t want to gatekeep it!
I use SoundSource by Rogue Amoeba to load my audio plugins directly on to the sound output of my computer. This lets me do a few things:
? Adjust and edit any sound going to any monitors or headphones
? See the exact loudness and dynamic range of my favourite songs
? Balance any shows, movies or YouTube videos to make them sound great in my room. Have you ever been watching a movie and wished you could hear the voices more clearly etc…
? Edit and adjust songs on my feedback livestreams without using complex loop back apps or combining multiple sound outputs on my streaming software.
