
Epping Council wins bid to move asylum seekers from local hotel
A judge allowed Epping Forest council a temporary injunction, blocking a hotel from housing asylum seekers and it's thought a number of councils are considering legal challenges of their own.

The judgement means asylum seekers must now be moved out of the Bell Hotel by 12 September.
The Home Office warned that an injunction could "interfere" with its legal obligations and aggravate the pressures on the system.
