Amongst the many things discussed between Presidents Trump, Zelenskyy, and other European leaders, the subject of Ukrainian children was brought up.

Zelenskyy thanked the First Lady, Melania Trump, for writing a letter to Russian president Putin, which subtly pleads for the plight of Russian-abducted Ukrainian children.
Back in 2023, the International Criminal Court charged President Putin with war crimes, accusing him of abducting Ukrainian children and relocating them to Russia, which claims some of the children don't have “parents or guardians" to look after them.
But an estimated 35,000 children are still missing, or being held in Russia or Russian held territories.
