The price of silver reached an all-time high on December 3 at $58,37 per troy ounce.
While silver has benefited from the same forces lifting gold and other precious metals, such as safe-haven demand and trade tensions, silver’s rally isn’t just a copycat move.
So what caused silver prices to peak? And what does it say about our reliance on this precious metal?
