Israel says it will begin negotiations with Lebanon as soon as possible after leaders from around the world condemned yesterday's bombardment of Beirut and other cities.
As Lebanon began to bury the more than 300 dead, there are fears that Israel's continued military offensive could bury the hopes of face-to-face talks between the US and Iran due to take place in Pakistan this weekend.
