Raspberry Pi 5 + Kali: No Wi-Fi Dongle Needed
Can a Raspberry Pi 5 (or Pi 4) running Kali Linux audit Wi-Fi without an external adapter? In this educational, permission-based lab demo, I use the Pi’s built-in Wi-Fi (monitor + injection) to capture a WPA2 handshake when a phone reconnects to a test SSID, then crack a weak password using a wordlist. I also explain why the tool shows “WPA” while the router is actually WPA2, and share practical tips to harden your own network.
