My South American Road Trip!?
I’m circumnavigating the world in an electric vehicle and traveling in South America has been one of the most challenging adventures I’ve encountered yet. This is the 5th continent I have traversed in my EV and as with most metropolitan areas, there is plenty of charging infrastructure but its when you get far away from major cities that charging requires more… Creativity.
The journey was filled with the familiar sights of tires on pavement and not so familiar charging solutions. While the days were long and draining at times, I met so many incredible characters along the way. From a flute playing botanist to a sand boarding world champion, the genuine kindness of Chilean and Argentine people shined through around every bend in the road.
