France's Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has said he is hopeful the country can pass a budget by the end of this year.

He's holding talks with party leaders in Paris and has been asked by President Macron to report back with a plan to end France's worst political crisis in decades.
Mr Lecornu handed in his resignation on Monday - becoming the fifth French Premier to quit in the last three years.
Speaking earlier, he played down the prospect of snap elections.
