If you’re in the market for a high-performance coupe, it doesn’t get much better than this line-up!
Mat’s got his hands on the New Porsche 911 GTS, AMG GT 63, Aston Martin Vantage and BMW M8 Competition, and he’s going to compare the four of them over a series of tests to see which is the must-have sports coupe for 2025.
So, for starters, let’s take a closer look at the stats.
The new 911 GTS is a hybrid, and it comes equipped with a 3.6-litre turbocharged flat-six, as well as an electric motor. Combined it creates 541hp and 610Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto, and as new it will set you back around £144,000.
Next up we have the AMG GT. It’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this creates 585hp and 800Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed multi-clutch, and a new one of these costs £185,000.
Up next is the Vantage. It’s powered by an AMG 4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this pumps out 665hp and 800Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels only via an 8-speed auto, and it’s the most expensive car here, at £216,000.
Finally we have the BMW M8. There’s a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, creating 625hp and 750Nm. It’s equipped with four-wheel drive, an 8-speed auto gearbox, and it costs £157,000.
But which one will come out on top? You’ll need to keep watching to see for yourself!
