Trump: Fifa Peace Prize 'one of the great honours of my life'

President Trump has described the FIFA peace prize as "truly one of the great honours of my life". At a glitz-filled ceremony in Washington, he claimed he had been able to end "so many different wars - in some cases a little bit before they started".

The Canadian prime minister Mark Carney and and Mexico's president Claudia Sheinbaum joined Mr Trump on stage next - to pick out the names in the 2026 FIFA world cup draw. Although it was delayed numerous times to make way for some musical entertainment.
