Fear isn't what you think it is. Most of the time, what we call fear is just unfamiliarity in disguise.
That presentation making your palms sweat? Do it a hundred times and it becomes routine. The difficult conversation you're avoiding? Have fifty of them and they become second nature. The stage that feels like standing on the edge of a cliff? Perform there enough and it becomes home.
We mistake novelty for danger. Our brains are wired to fear the unknown, but here's the truth: familiarity breeds confidence.
So stop waiting to feel brave. Start getting familiar. The fear doesn't disappear because you conquered it. It fades because you normalized it.
