Chili Pepper Turns 15!
Chili Pepper the Patagonian cavy is officially 15 years old!!
He came to Animal Wonders when he was just a tiny guy, and he's grown into something of a legend around here. He has retired from his ambassador days and now enjoys spending all of his time with his life companion, Cayenne, and their young friend Ancho. Chili Pepper is quite an old guy and our veterinarian has been helping us manage his senior needs. While arthritis and muscle atrophy have slowed him down, he's still aggressively friendly and wants nothing more than to be a part of whatever is going on. He loves apples, scritches by his tail, sucking on your fingers, and chewing shoelaces. Don't let your guard down, or you'll end up being his best friend forever.
