What Sikhism really teaches | Young & Faithful
Sikhism is one of the world's youngest major religions. It was founded in the Punjab region of India in the 15th century. Today, around 25 to 30 million Sikhs live around the world, with Britain's Sikh community being the largest in Europe.
In this episode of Young & Faithful, we spend a day with 23-year-old Damandeep in Reading, England. From prayer and community service to family traditions and questions of faith, she shows us what Sikhism means in her everyday life and why the belief in oneness, equality and selfless service continues to guide her.
