President Donald Trump says his evacuation during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting took longer because he initially hesitated, wanting to understand what was happening before leaving. He admits that brief delay made it tougher for Secret Service agents to move him out quickly, as they worked to secure the situation and protect everyone in the room.
