The U.S. government is preparing to revoke the business and tourism visas of up to 200,000 foreigners who have applied for or are seeking asylum, according to State Department documents obtained by The Associated Press. The planned action could become the largest mass visa revocation in U.S. history and would target B1 and B2 visas issued between 2016 and 2026 in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security. The move comes as the Trump administration has tightened visa requirements, including increased scrutiny of applicants’ social media activity and new visa restrictions.
