Richard Karn Shares 'Home Improvement' SECRETS and REACTS to Rarely Seen BTS Footage | ET Then & Now

Richard Karn chats exclusively with ET's Nischelle Turner, reminiscing about his time on 'Home Improvement' alongside Tim Allen, and his days working as a building manager. Karn also reveals his iconic role as Al was originally supposed to be played by Stephen Tobolowsky, known for 'Spaceballs' and 'Freaky Friday!' When Karn stepped in, the writers never anticipated the undeniable chemistry between him and Allen, a connection that ultimately kept Al on the show.
