David Letterman Roasts CBS For Late Show Cancelation in Final Appearance With Stephen Colbert
Stephen Colbert brought in late-night predecessor David Letterman for a chaotic rooftop bit ahead of the final episodes of ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.’ Standing atop New York City’s Ed Sullivan Theater, Letterman joked that instead of feeling emotional about Colbert’s farewell, he was excited for 'the wanton destruction of CBS property.' Colbert also revealed more of his final guest lineup: Jon Stewart and Steven Spielberg are set to appear Tuesday, while Bruce Springsteen will perform on Wednesday night. There’s still no confirmation on who Colbert’s final guest will be, though there’s speculation it could be George Clooney, who was also Colbert’s very first guest.
