GTA 6’s Netflix-Exclusive Gameplay Reveal Shows Rockstar Can Get Away With Anything - Beyond Clips
Netflix subscribers getting to see Grand Theft Auto 6’s gameplay six hours before everyone else isn’t a huge inconvenience, it’s six hours. But also: putting promotional marketing content on a paid subscription service seems a little icky, doesn’t it? Also, when’s the last time people pre-ordered a $100 video game without having actually seen it in action? If any other publisher or game studio even attempted to market a game like this, the internet would be up in arms, but Rockstar does what Rockstar wants, and since basically everyone is already sold on GTA 6 just based on the studio’s pedigree alone, everyone lets it slide.
