In this Japan travel vlog, join me on a 2 week trip through the southern and western parts of Honshu Island. I'll first explore the Chugoku region starting from Hiroshima. In Hiroshima Prefecture, I'll also take a day trip to the sacred Miyajima Island, explore the Ghibli like streets of Onomichi, and attempt the legendary cycling route, the Shimanami Kaido. Next up is Okayama Prefecture, with the gorgeous Korakuen in Okayama City and the historical town of Kurashiki. From Okayama, I'll take a short day trip to the art island of Naoshima, with a stop in Uno. After the Chugoku region, I'll spend a couple of days in nearby Hyogo Prefecture, discovering Himeji and revisiting Kobe. This is the perfect Japan itinerary for anyone wanting to explore away from the most popular cities.
