As bears begin to emerge from hibernation, the number of sightings are on the rise across the United States. They have been seen getting stuck in storm drains and even venturing inside homes. In Connecticut, officials are reporting a 700 percent increase in human-bear conflicts over the past decade and that their “range is expanding.” NBC’s Emilie Ikeda reports for TODAY.
