Patrick Clancy testified about the gutting moment he went to the basement to find his three young kids unresponsive with exercise bands around their necks. "I saw Cora," Clancy said in a very quiet voice. "She had a band around her neck." He said the five-year-old was "face down" and she was unresponsive. He said he took the bands off of her neck and then saw his son Callan, 8 months old, also with a band around his neck.
Then Patrick went to find his other son, Dawson, and found the three-year-old in the dad's basement office with a band on his neck. "I knew that he was gone," Patrick told the jury.
