Why are people ordering fake food and clothes? | ABC NEWS Loop

Imagine ordering your favourite takeaway, tracking it all the way to your door and knowing it'll never arrive.
So-called "dopamine apps" enable people to fake-shop and fake-order food, giving them the psychological rush of a purchase without the hit to their bank account.
It's a recent viral trend in South Korea and this particular genre of apps could start spreading globally.
