INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- 2 cups frozen whole strawberries
- Miniature mochi, for topping (optional)
PREPARATION
1. In a small glass or ceramic bowl, add the condensed milk and matcha powder. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and evenly colored. Set aside.
2. Place the frozen strawberries in the feed tube of a rotary cheese grater fitted with the fine drum (or press them against the fine side of a box grater). Working quickly, grate the strawberries directly into a chilled medium stainless steel mixing bowl, turning the handle steadily if using a rotary grater, until all the strawberries are shaved into fluffy snow-like pieces.
3. Immediately divide the shaved strawberries evenly into 2 chilled serving bowls.
