Making the Terra Fortuna Ring
This is a ring I designed called Terra Fortuna. Each material in it stands for a step in the history of our planet and all together it symbolizes how lucky we all are to be here.

Terra Fortuna means "Fortunate Earth." The idea is simple. Life is incredibly rare. Almost the entire universe is empty and dark, and Earth is the lucky exception where life happened. So the ring is dark on the outside for that empty space, and it glows in the center for life at home.
The hardest part of the build was the machining and inlay work. The ridges between the channels are under half a millimeter wide, so there was no room for error and it took real patience.
Overall the thing that surprised me most was how nicely the colors came together.
This is the full build, start to finish. Hope you enjoy it.
It feels really good to be back making content. I tried a completely new storytelling style with this one, so I'd genuinely love to know what you thought. Did the story make sense? Were you able to follow it? Anything you'd do differently? Drop a comment, I read them all. And if you'd like a Terra Fortuna ring of your own, the link is in the description. Thanks for watching!
