An 18th century painting by Italian baroque artist Giacomo Ceruti has reappeared after it was stolen by Nazis in 1945 from a Jewish-owned gallery in Amsterdam. Keen-eyed Dutch journalists spotted the "Portrait of a Lady" painting hanging in a real estate listing for a home in Argentina. The home listed belonged to Patricia Kadgien and her husband Juan Carlos Cortegoso. Patricia Kadgien’s father was a Nazi official who oversaw art theft in occupied countries. She and her husband have been charged with aggravated concealment of possession.
