Inside the Stop-Motion Technology of Laika's Coraline
In the stop-motion puppet collection of the Cinema Relics archive, Adam reconnects with former colleague Martin Meunier, whose work on Laika's Coraline was groundbreaking for stop-motion animation. Taking a look at a few puppets from Coraline, Martin explains how he developed the facial animation system to make use of rapid prototyping, a process which earned him and the team an Academy Award.
