Pope Leo's nodule found to be cancerous, lower lobe of right lung removed, Vatican says

BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV's lung nodule that was removed during surgery was found to be cancerous, the Vatican said.
"The procedure was successfully completed, on schedule and as planned, and the Holy Father has returned to his room," the Vatican press office said in a statement.
