The first foldable iPhone is finally here, and we got the chance to try the iPhone Duo for ourselves. The Verge’s editor-in-chief Nilay Patel takes a closer look at the foldable, which has a 5.4-inch display but opens to a 7.6-inch panel. Apple went with a matte finish with the Duo’s inner screen which helps with glare, but also helps mask the crease. The main camera has two lenses which both use 48-megapixel sensors — and the ultrawide is actually the same found on the 18 Pro. The Duo starts at $1,999, with preorders beginning October 16th and sales starting October 23rd. Was it worth the wait?
