Jane Fonda, award-winning actress, activist, and fitness icon, joins TODAY to talk about taking her talents and philanthropic passion for climate change to the stage in a new musical called “Dear Everything: A Musical Uprising for the Earth” about a small town where the adults are trying to sell their local forest to a timber company. Fonda shares that the proceeds of the show go to local youth groups focused on climate, and opens up on how she first found a passion for saving the environment, saying “I took solace outdoors and the birds, the bobcats, mountain lions, and coyotes, they were my friends… I have children and grandchildren so I want to fight for their future.”
