Thirteen individuals have been federally charged in El Paso for allegedly smuggling stolen U.S. vehicles to Mexican cartels. U.S. Attorney Justin R. Simmons announced the indictments alongside multi-agency law enforcement partners—including Homeland Security Investigations, the FBI, and CBP—operating under the Homeland Security Task Force initiative established by Executive Order 14159.
