US Soldier Pleads Not Guilty in $400k Maduro Ouster Betting Scandal
The US Army soldier who allegedly used classified information to win $400,000 betting on the military operation to capture Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro pleaded not guilty to fraud charges on Tuesday.
“Not guilty, your honor,” said Master Sgt. Gannon Ken Van Dyke, 38, wearing a dark blue blazer over a black button down shirt, in his first appearance in Manhattan federal court.
