Katy Perry Thanks Critics Who 'Bet Against Me' for Helping Her Meet 'Love of My Life' Justin Trudeau
Katy Perry opens up to ET's Denny Directo after a screening of 'Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live From Paris,' which hits theaters and IMAX on Sept. 2. The pop star explains why it was so important to make the concert film, exposing her tour to fans around the world who didn't have the chance to see Katy live. Plus, Katy explains how she gained 'resilience' on the tour, training both her physical and mental health for such a demanding nightly show. The singer praises the critics who 'bet against' her, because ultimately, going on the 'Lifetimes' tour introduced her to the 'love of my love,' Justin Trudeau. The couple met last year when Justin reached out to Katy's team for tickets to the show. Katy says Justin's support is 'on another level.' Then, the proud mom gives an update on her only child, 6-year-old Daisy, whom she shares with ex Orlando Bloom. As for what's next, Katy says she's excited to live life so she has something to write new songs about.
