The Mandalorian and Grogu is tracking to break a record set by Solo: A Star Wars Story, but that's not technically good news. Mando and Grogu could open to a Disney-era low of $80 million over the Memorial Day weekend. Solo, the spinoff about everyone's favorite spice smuggler, opened to around $84 million over the same weekend back in 2018. But if there's a silver lining, The Mandalorian and Grogu cost almost half of what Solo cost to make. In other news, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed recently that Grand Theft Auto 6 will NOT include real-world product placement, in keeping with the franchise's theme of using fake products.
