Ebola Outbreak 'May Be Larger Than Currently Detected' #shorts
The World Health Organization warned that the ongoing Ebola outbreak in Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda may be larger than currently detected, declaring it a public health emergency of international concern due to the high risk of further spread. UN spokesperson Farhan Haq said the outbreak involves the Bundibugyo strain, which has no licensed vaccines or specific treatments, with
more than 482 suspected cases and about 116 deaths reported in Ituri province since April.
