Climate Minister Katie White says we need to ’expand on our best natural resources’ such as offshore wind and wind power, but says ‘oil and gas’ is going to remain ‘part of the mix’.
This is part of the Labour government’s agenda towards more clean power like solar and wind, while other countries such as the US are looking at maximising fossil fuel drilling.
