The Final Push: Who Is Actually Going to Make It to RADwood? | RADwood Build Challenge Ep. 5
Episode 5 of Hagerty’s first-ever RADwood Build Challenge is here, with @stanceworks @vin_tra and @LarryChenPhoto competing to build the raddest car possible for an all-or-nothing grand prize of $100,000 at RADwood NorCal on October 24th, 2026. RSVP for your FREE tickets https://www.radwood.com/
With RADwood almost here, it’s crunch time. Larry Chen’s 1996 Honda Accord SiR gets its race-built H22 in the car, fires it up, and sends flames out of the hood, then gets its wheels and tires on. Vin Anatra’s 1994 GMT400 Dually gets its wrap and wider rear fenders and the result looks great. And Mike Burroughs gets the new wider fenders onto his 1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo and the dyed interior in, but his custom wheels still aren’t on the car. Will all three make it in time?
Back to the competition though. RADwood NorCal is happening in-person on October 24th in Alameda, California, from 4 to 8 p.m. Who determines the winner? YOU, the people! By voting in-person at the event. Come see the rad builds, dress for the era, and enjoy food trucks, wheels in motion, and live DJs. It’s free to attend, just RSVP for your tickets at https://www.radwood.com/ - $50,000 goes to the builder who wins it all and $50,000 to the charity of their choice.
All three vehicles will also be auctioned off in no-reserve auctions on Hagerty Marketplace (https://www.hagerty.com/marketplace) at the end of the Build Challenge, so if you like what you see, get your wallets ready!
RADwood Build Challenge is presented by Goodyear.
