As Keir Starmer announced his resignation outside Number 10, the EU anthem Ode to Joy could be heard playing in the background.
The music was being played by veteran anti-Brexit activist Steve Bray, who told Channel 4 News he was drowning out "derogatory" heckling from an individual with a megaphone.
