Ginger Zee's Mom Dawn Becomes a DOCTOR at 72! ABC News Star Praises Her for Chasing Her DREAM

'Good Morning America' meteorologist Ginger Zee praises her mom, Dawn E. Zuidgeest-Craft, for becoming a doctor at 72. Dawn’s journey began in 1980, when she dropped out of nursey school as life (including becoming pregnant with Ginger!) interrupted her studies. The mother-daughter duo sits down with ET's Emily Curl to unpack Dawn's unconventional road to living out her dream, enrolling in medical school in the Carribbean and earning her doctorate.
