Squire was pushing boundaries since the '70s - running his Rickenbacker in stereo, splitting the neck and bridge pickups across separate amps years before that was a normal idea. He was known for using a plethora of different basses and amps, plus a pedalboard that looked like it belonged in a cockpit! ✈️
